SARDONYX was a live music ministry from 1988 - 1994.  The band can best be described as an 80's power metal band and had a heart for reaching the metal world of that era for Jesus Christ.  The band was founded on the premise that music is merely a tool for teaching the Bible.  The metal music sub culture was our mission field and because all followers of Jesus Christ are called to make disciples of Him, our calling was to this select group of people.   God gave us a love for people and opened our eyes to their deep spiritual needs.   We wrote songs that dealt with the issues they faced and offered answers from the Bible. 

We developed a 16 page metal newsletter called the "LightShine Metal Mag" which we faithfully sent to a mailing list of over over 8,000 in 42 different countries. 

The band excelled as an all original band and wrote three different recording projects to date.
